Will I receive orientation and training?
CDC employees will receive two orientations designed specifically for their first assignment prior to deployment. The focus of orientation is to introduce new employees to the structure and function of the Agency and its role in the development and implementation of Global Health; to develop an understanding of the terms of employment; and to enhance core skills needed by all employees. Additionally, the program which will be sending you overseas will provide its own orientation program.
