Susanna Visser, MS, is an Epidemiologist with the Child Development Studies team who specializes in the analysis of longitudinal and population-based survey data. She came to CDC in 2001 as a fellow and currently serves on technical expert panels for the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Maternal Child Health Bureau.
Susanna’s research activities include the epidemiologic study of mental health conditions of children, including ADHD, Tourette Syndrome, and associated co-occurring disorders. She is also the lead Epidemiologist for a randomized controlled clinical trial of a multi-site parenting intervention. Susanna earned an MS degree from the University of Chicago.
