Purpose
Map reef-front sediment deposits off the leeward and north shores
of Oahu.
Information to be Derived
Location and thickness of reef-front sediment deposits.
Summary
Ran survey lines at 0.5 to 1 km line spacing, typically perpendicular
to the shoreline, from the reef edge to ~100 meter water depth, from Makua to
Barbers Point off leeward Oahu, and from 3 km east of Kaena Point to Waimea Bay
off the North shore.
