Purpose
To collect sediment samples from the lake for lithology analysis.
Information to be Derived
Lithology, grainsize, Percent total organic content, Percent total
carbonate content, Percent Sand, photographs, microscope photographs, x-ray.
Summary
Stratigraphic interpretations, photographs, and subsamples for lab
analysis of sediment parameters such as grain size, percent totoal organic
carbon, percent calcium carbonate content, percent sand, x-rays of layering. 5
vibracores taken with scuba
Notes
Johnboat and ATV and MUVP were used. MUVP, Floating dock EZ-Dock,
Floatable, portable working platform separate from a boat.
