Purpose
Exchange moorings off shore Boston and Scituate. Collect sediment
cores and deploy oxygen profiler and benthic chambers at long term sediment
monitoring sites.
Information to be Derived
Times series data; Samples and Chemical Analysis; Suspended Sediment
Concentrations.
Summary
Moorings exchanged successfully at sites A and B. A sufficient
number of cores were collected at station 3, but not at station 2 because the
core closure mechanism broke. 4 Stations Occupied.
