Equipment Used
boxcore
gravitycore
Purpose
Quantify the physical properties (grain size, density, organic content)
and chemistry of surficial sediments deposited behind Englebright Dam.
Information to be Derived
grain size distribution, organic content, sediment bulk density,
sediment geochemistry (mercury, methylmercury, trace metals).
Summary
29 box cores and 21 gravity cores were collected at 11 locations
throughout the reservoir.
