Join Friends of the Law Library
In 1932, a group of prominent attorneys and jurists organized the Friends of The Law Library of Congress to encourage awareness and support of the Law Library, contribute to its collections, and sponsor programs that promote a better understanding of law.
The Friends, a non-profit organization, seeks to stimulate interest in the largest and most comprehensive source of legal information in the world. The collection of more than 2.6 million volumes, along with its highly-trained staff of attorneys and librarians, make the Law Library a vital center of research and scholarship.
For more information on how to support the many activities of the Friends of The Law Library of Congress, please e-mail Leon Scioscia at: lsci@loc.gov.
