Biography:
Shelia P. Moses is a poet, author, playwright and producer. The ninth of 10 children, Moses writes about family life in a North Carolina rural town. She is a Coretta Scott King Honor winner and a National Book Award finalist. Her books have been nominated as the American Library Association's Best Books for Young Adults. Moses will appear in the Teens & Children's Pavilion.

The 2007 National Book Festival, organized and sponsored by the Library of Congress and hosted by First Lady Laura Bush will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., between 7th and 14th streets from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival is free and open to the public.
