Biography:
Holly Black is a best-selling author of contemporary fantasy novels for children and teens. Her first book, "Tithe: A Modern Faerie Tale" (2002), was an American Library Association Best Book for Young Adults and a finalist for the Mythopoeic Award. Her latest book, "Ironside" (Simon & Schuster, 2007), is the sequel to "Tithe." Black will appear in the Teens & Children's Pavilion.

The 2007 National Book Festival, organized and sponsored by the Library of Congress and hosted by First Lady Laura Bush will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., between 7th and 14th streets from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival is free and open to the public.
