By National Child Care Information Center
2006

Summary: This Microsoft PowerPoint presentation discusses the effects of methamphetamine abuse on children. Methamphetamine is a highly addictive, central nervous system stimulant. Drug-endangered children suffer physical harm or neglect from direct or indirect exposure to illegal drugs or alcohol. Drug-endangered children live in a house where illegal drugs are used or manufactured. They may be exposed to the toxic chemicals of home drug labs. The signs of caretaker substance abuse and neglect are listed. The symptoms of methamphetamine abuse are also listed.
