Description: The Science Inventory is a searchable, Agency-wide database of more than 4,000 scientific and technical work products. Database records provide such information as project descriptions (abstracts), contacts for additional information and electronic links to final reports and related research. See also:
- Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) - contains information on toxic chemical releases and other waste management activities reported annually by certain covered industry groups as well as federal facilities.
- EPA Air Quality Index (AQI) - AIRNow - tells you how clean the air is and whether it will affect your health.
- Federal Docket Management System - FDMS - includes virtually all items - dockets and documents - in EPA’s Headquarters official public rulemaking dockets and various non-rulemaking dockets which are made available for review.
- National Service Center for Environmental Publications (NSCEP) - A central repository of more than 7,000 EPA documents in paper and/or electronic format; available for free distribution.
- Environmental Publications Internet Site (NEPIS) - EPA's largest electronic documents site allows you to search view and print, including full images of all original pages and full-text, from a collection of over 10,000 archival and current documents. This collection may include documents that are no longer available in print form.

Some technical reports from the EPA are available through the Library of Congress Technical Reports and Standards Unit (TRS) . Many others are in the general collections of the Library and can be found by searching the LC online catalog.
