WASHINGTON, July 7, 2000 – "AFIS On Assignment" for the week of July 10-16, 2000 is now available on the Web at http://onassignment.afis.osd.mil. [link no longer available] "AFIS On Assignment" is a weekly publication of the American Forces Information Service. Produced each Friday, the publication is a preview of stories being released by the American Forces Press Service and the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service. It also contains highlights of DoD imagery.
