Re: Tax Offset Sixth Collection Report - PY95

Dear Colleague:

We are very pleased to forward to you the Sixth Collection/Adjustment/Address and corresponding Name Change reports for the 1995 Federal Tax Refund Offset Program. Enclosed is the collection report representing the tax refund offsets for the month of July 1995 less the service fee and any adjustments made during this period for the 1990 through 1995 processing years.

The net collection total for July 1995 for 50,048 offsets is $32,520,083 as compared to 33,696 offsets for $18,023,893 in

July 1994. The net year-to-date collection total through July 1995 of $775,864,730 has exceeded the July 1994 total of $668,367,762.

The electronic funds transfer (EFT) for July is scheduled to be accomplished on August 7, 1995. If you have any questions pertaining to the tax refund offset program, please feel free to contact the Special Collections Unit at (202) 401-9389.
