Dear Colleague:

The Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) invites you to join your colleagues at the next Child Support Enforcement Network (CSENet) Technical Workshop at the Capitol Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC, from 9:00 am on Wednesday, July 29^th through 12 noon on Friday, July 31^st. By sending at least one CSENet technical representative from your State, you can learn about, as well as share in shaping, CSENet implementation and operation.

With Federal Case Registry (FCR) implementation on the horizon, this is a critical time for CSENet. During the ACF Users' Group meeting in Hershey, PA last month, CSENet technical staff asked for more opportunities to meet with their CSENet counterparts from other States. In response, OCSE has arranged this technical workshop as a time for all CSENet staff to receive the same information, raise questions, share problems and suggest solutions.

A two and one-half day workshop will allow us to explore topics in more depth. The draft agenda includes:

CSENet enhancements,
Strategies for handling FCR transactions,
CSENet business rules or "Good Manners," and
Valid transactions.

We ask for your suggestions for additions to the agenda.

OCSE will pay for hotel accommodations for one CSENet participant from each State for three nights for the workshop. Enclosed with this letter is a registration form. A complete logistical package with directions to the hotel will be sent to you as soon as your registration form is received.
