Magazine's first color cover
Victor Keppler pioneered the use of commercial color photography in the 1930s. This March 6, 1937, cover of the "Saturday Evening Post" featured a Keppler photograph of ice skaters. It was the first time the magazine had featured a color photograph on its cover.
