SESA Crossmatches

APR 11 1996 DCL9617

TO ALL STATE IV-D DIRECTORS

Dear Colleague:

This letter is to provide you an update on the status of the monthly State Employment Security Agencies (SESA) crossmatches between the Federal Parent Locator Service (FPLS) and SESAs. SESA crossmatches have continually proven to be the best source of the 1996 schedule for submitting cases to the FPLS for the SESA crossmatches.

We will continue to conduct one SESA crossmatch per month, for up to 250,000 cases, with all participating SESA's. As a reminder, they key feature for requesting cases to be to SESA(s) is "direct" or "broadcast". The "direct" option is used to send a case to specific SESAs. Whereas the "broadcase" option is used to send the case to all the SESAs participating in the crossmatch.

We gratefully acknowledge and appreciate the ongoing cooperation and professionalism that we have received from each of your locate offices. If you have any questions, please call Joan O'Connor on (202) 401-9268.

Sincerely,

David Gray Ross

Deputy Director
