the history, culture and richness of the Native American Experience
in North America and has been expanded to include Indian people

The Canadian Journal
of Native Studies
The Canadian Journal of Native Studies is a highly recognized
journal in the field of Native Studies. It comes out on a bi-annual
basis, and publishes original research which is refereed by peer
review. As a general focus, the journal publishes anthropological,
historical, sociological, political, legal, educational and cultural
issues affecting First Nations people. Although the majority of
articles deal with Indigenous peoples in Canada, it also publishes
articles dealing with Indigenous peoples world-wide. Volumes 1-16
(1981-1996) are available online with later volumes forthcoming.
First Nations Periodicals
Index
The First Nations Periodical Index contains journals of mainly Canadian
Native content. This Index is a tool providing access to information
about First Nations for students, educators, instructors and researchers.
The First Nations Periodical Index is a joint project of the Saskatchewan
Indian Federated College, Saskatoon Campus, the Saskatchewan Indian
Cultural Centre and the Library Services for Saskatchewan Aboriginal
Peoples committee.
Native American Authors
This website provides information on Native North American authors
with bibliographies of their published works, biographical information,
and links to online resources including interviews, online texts
and tribal websites. Currently the website primarily contains information
on contemporary Native American authors, although some historical
authors are represented. The website will continue to expand, adding
additional authors, books and web resources. |
