Use of posters in this collections may be restricted.

Access: Permitted; subject to P&P policy on serving originals, which requires the use of digital images in lieu of the original posters.

Reproduction (photocopying, hand-held camera copying, photoduplication and other forms of copying allowed by "fair use"): Permitted, subject to P&P policy on copying, which prohibits photocopying of the original posters.

Publication and other forms of distribution: Posters in this collection were published in Spain between 1936 and 1939. There are no copyright notices or symbols on the posters. A copyright search of copyright records in Spain or the U.S. was not made. According to the U.S. copyright law, which governs use of these posters in the U.S., if the posters were copyrighted and the copyrights were renewed, they are protected for 95 years from the copyright date. Use outside of the U.S. is governed by the copyright laws of the country in which the material is being used.
