A block of rooms have been reserved for February 19, 2009, through February 25, 2009, at a rate of $224 per night, plus tax (single/double occupancy). The group rate will be available until Monday, February 9, 2009, or until the group block is sold out, whichever comes first. Group rates are available to participants 3 days before and 3 days after the meeting based on availability. The Group Room includes: wired and wireless high speed-internet access, fitness center access, designated complimentary in-room beverages, daily newspaper, local and toll free 800 telephone calls (20 minutes per call).

All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card at the time of reservation. If you have to cancel your reservation, please be sure to do so by 72 hours before your scheduled arrival date, otherwise, you will be assessed a no-show fee of one night’s stay. If you cancel your reservation, please ensure that you record and keep your cancellation number.

The check-in time for the hotel is 3:00 p.m., and the check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Be sure to request a nonsmoking room if desired.

Ground Transportation

Multiple means of transportation are available from the Metro DC airports. The following outlines the methods of transportation from each airport — Reagan National, Dulles, and BWI — as well as approximate costs. Reagan National is the closest to the hotel; Dulles and BWI airports may be cheaper to fly in to, but are further away from the hotel.

Gaylord National Express Shuttle Service

The Gaylord National has a new exclusive, express shuttle service operating continuously between the resort and Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA). Whether traveling individually or as part of a group, all guests will be able to take advantage of the service. The shuttle will operate daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., departing every 20 minutes from the resort’s main entrance, and every 20 minutes from the Reagan National Airport baggage-claim level.

$32 per person, round trip
$78 for exclusive van service, booked in advance

Advance reservations are recommended, but not required. Tickets are available for purchase at the Ground Transportation Desk (SuperShuttle), located on the airport lower level near baggage claim, or in the Gaylord National main lobby. Guests can also call 800-660-8000 to make reservations. Travel time each way is estimated to be between 15-30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
