Democratic Republic of the Congo: displaced short of food and water Intense fighting in North Kivu has triggered a new wave of displacement of the population. The infrastructure of the camps hosting the displaced is inadequate. Food and drinking water are lacking and hygiene conditions are terrible. The ICRC and the Red Cross Society of DRC are responding to the most urgent needs.
