General InformationCooperative Acquisitions ProgramsUnder the South Asia Cooperative Acquisitions Program (SACAP), the New Delhi Office acquires library materials for the Library of Congress and member institutions from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma, India, the Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka, and Tibetan titles published in several Asian countries. The Office also maintains a restricted web site to disseminate bibliographic and other information of interest to libraries participating in the program.

writers from South Asia with photographs and biographic data. An on-going
project of the Library of Congress New Delhi office. Visit

spoken in the region.
