Reading Rooms and Hours of Service

Location
The Library of Congress is housed in three buildings located at First Street and Independence Avenue, SE, Washington, D.C.

Parking
The Library offers no public parking facilities.

Which Entrance to Use?
Each Library building has at least one entrance that can be used by researchers.

Copying Services
A variety of copying and reproduction services, including self-service photocopying, are available to researchers.

High School Students
High school students can be authorized to use the Library's reading rooms under certain circumstances.

Food Facilities
A cafeteria, snack bar, coffee shop, and vending machine facilities are available at the Library.
