TO: ALL STATE IV-D DIRECTORS

RE: Federal Offset Full Fee Reversal Reimbursement

Dear Colleague:

Enclosed is a summary report of full reversals for the second quarter of Processing Year (PY) 2000. The reimbursement of full reversal fees occurs when the amount of the reversal or reversals equals the original offset. Please note that service fees are not reimbursed on cases with partial reversals. OCSE will reimburse full reversal fees to States quarterly.

In addition to the summary report, Federal Offset Coordinators will find enclosed a detailed report that lists SSN, name, and case ID for full fee reversals for your State. The corresponding service fees are being returned by transfer of funds through the automated Clearing House (ACH), and are scheduled for August 15, 2000. If you have any questions about this process or the enclosed reports, please call the Special Collections Unit at (202) 401-9389.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation as we work to improve the lives of our nation’s children.

Sincerely,

David Gray Ross
Commissioner
Office of Child Support Enforcement
