Dear Colleague:

This letter announces the posting on the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement website of Version 8 of the NDNH Guide for Data Submission. This version is posted at:

http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/cse/newhire/library/ndnh/ndnh.htm. The previous version of the guide was published on February 18, 1999.

A chart is attached to this letter that lists the substantive changes and the sections in the guide where each change is discussed. Additional minor changes to style and format were also made to improve the readability of the guide.

If you have any comments or questions regarding the information in this guide, or if you cannot retrieve a copy of the guide from the website listed above and would like to order a copy, please call the Federal Parent Locator Service Information Line at (202) 401-9267.

We greatly appreciate the cooperation of officials of the State Directories of New Hires, State Employment Security Agencies, Federal agencies that are involved in the submittal of NDNH data, and staff in the state Child Support Enforcement agencies, as we strive to improve the lives of our nation’s children.

Sincerely,

Sherri Z. Heller, Ed.D.
