URBANDALE, Iowa -- A mobile Disaster Recovery Center will visit Mills, Fremont, and Ida Counties June 12-19, according to officials at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division (HSEMD).

The mobile Disaster Recovery Center schedule is:

DRCs - The mobile sites around the state - are open from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and closed Sundays until further notice. 

Representatives of state, federal and voluntary agencies will be available to answer questions and provide recovery information. Officials from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will be ready to discuss disaster loans for homeowners, renters and businesses of all sizes. Written materials about various assistance programs are also provided to individuals and business owners.

Before visiting one of the disaster recovery centers or mobile disaster recovery centers, disaster victims are urged to register for assistance by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or on-line at www.fema.gov. The TTY number is 1-800-462-7585 for the hearing- or speech-impaired. Those who have questions may visit a mobile center to meet with recovery specialists in person.

FEMA coordinates the federal government's role in preparing for, preventing, mitigating the effects of, responding to, and recovering from all domestic disasters, whether natural or man-made, including acts of terror.
