plan to promote a nationwide system of immunization registries that will provide accurate, up-to-date information about 
children’s immunizations.

The N.A.S.N. Executive Committee carefully reviewed the materials you provided and recognize the value of this program for 
students and their schools.  The automatic printout of students’ immunization status will promote greater accuracy of records
 and avoid duplication of immunizations – thus enabling the school nurse to focus on other important health-related 
 activities.
