The U.S. Marine colors are dipped while "Taps" was played marking the 60th Anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima at the Marine Corps War Memorial near Arlington National Cemetery, Feb. 19, 2005. The Marine Corps Battle Color Streamers commemorate the military campaigns in which Marines have participated. Included in the 51 streamers are the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Streamer with eight silver and two bronze stars, World War II Victory Streamer, and Navy Occupation Service Streamer with one Europe and one Asia clasp.
