Petty Officer 1st Class Guy Gregg, assigned to the Pacific Fleet Band, practices as the primary bugler before the 63rd commemoration of the Dec. 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. More than 200 distinguished visitors and Pearl Harbor survivors attended the ceremony, which included the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Chung-Hoon rendering honors, more than 40 wreath presentations, a 21-gun salute by the U.S. Marine Aircraft Group 24 and a F-15 missing man flyover by the Hawaii Air National Guard. A Naval Station Pearl Harbor ceremonial guard provided sideboys and performed morning colors, and the Pacific Fleet Band performed the National Anthem and Echo Taps. The keynote speaker for the event was Vice Adm. Gary Roughead, deputy commander, U.S. Pacific Command.
