REASON:
Aventis Pasteur has received reports of packages of Rabies Vaccine, IMOVAX Rabies, that are missing the vials of freeze-dried vaccine and contain only the diluent syringe and two needles. To ensure you have received packages containing vaccine, you must open all the gray plastic boxes of IMOVAX Rabies Vaccine in your inventory, regardless of lot number, to confirm inclusion of the vaccine vial. Please note that the gray plastic box should include a vial of freeze-dried vaccine, a diluent syringe, and two needles. Consignees have been asked to contact the manufacturer to arrange for product return.
