Practical Quality Control Principles for the Small Laboratory-Quantitative Tests (Web on Demand)

The goal of the program is to provide laboratorians with an explanation of the purpose of quality assurance and quality control programs, the statistical basis of quality control, types of quality control materials and recording and interpretation of quality control data and how this relates to the correct reporting of patient results. Web on Demand TARGET AUDIENCE: This program is targeted primarily to those who work in small laboratories but is appropriate for any laboratorians performing quantitative testing procedures. MATERIALS: This instructional module may be delivered to a small group or used as individual study. The program materials are available online. (Presentation, practice exercises, post test, and evaluation) When used as a group-study, a computer with Internet access and equipped with audio and LCD projector capability is needed.
