Immunization: You Call the Shots – Module Six: Hepatitis A (Web-based)

This module, Hepatitis A, is the sixth module in a planned series of 13 modules of basic immunization training.
This series is designed to provide key immunization knowledge in a basic step-by-step manner. It is useful as an introduction to the field of immunization for new providers, or nursing and medical students. It is also useful as a comprehensive refresher for more experienced providers.
In addition to the course content, the self-paced program includes a number of features to facilitate learning including: learning opportunities, practice questions, resource and reference materials and an extensive glossary. The program typically takes between 1 and 2 hours to complete.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Physicians, nurses, nursing students, medical assistants, pharmacists, and other health professionals who provide immunizations. The target audience also includes health educators, immunization program managers, Department of Defense paraprofessionals, and other persons who administer healthcare services.
MATERIALS: Computer with access to the internet PREREQUISITES: Participants should have a basic educational background in science including general knowledge in the subject areas of biology, immunization and vaccine-preventable diseases.
