Canal widening and concrete slope paving

The work involves the widening of the trapazoidal canal section and the addition of concrete slope paving to the upper slopes of the canal section down to the low water elevation. Rip rap will be placed on the lower slope of the canal section. The bottom width of the canal will be 30 feet and the length of the project will be approximately 15,400 feet. The slope paving will consist of a 7 inch thick reinforced concrete with 2 foot by 9 inch upper and lower keys. The rip rap will be 12 inches thick with a lower key at the channel invert.
