WBV-18.1 - Hwy 90 to Lake Cataouatche PS - Phase 1
Raise levees to authorized level of protection

This contract involves improving approximately 2.8 miles of existing earthen levee from the southernmost limits of a landfill south of Highway 90 at approximate station 160+00 southward towards the Lake Cataouatche Pump Station in Jefferson Parish. The exisiting levee is deficient in both elevation and stability This contract involves constructing the levee to the authorized elevation, providing 1 vertical to 4 horizonal side slopes for stability, stability berms and also includes the relocation of an adjacent drainage canal for stability reasons.

WBV-18.2 - Hwy 90 to Lake Cataouatche PS - Phase 2
Raise levees to 100 year flood level

This contract involves raising the elevation of approximately 3 miles of earthen levee constructed during Phase 1 activities to the 100-year level of protection. The levee will run from the southernmost limits of a landfill south of Highway 90 at approximate station 160+00 southward towards the Lake Cataouatche Pump Station in Jefferson Parish.
