The 58 centers that comprise the Federal Highway Administration's Local and Tribal Technical Assistance Programs (LTAP/TTAP) provide information and training to local governments and agencies responsible for over three million miles of roadway and 301,845 bridges in the United States. The LTAP/TTAP Clearinghouse acts as a central source of information for LTAP/TTAP centers and other industry stakeholders.

The mission of LTAP/TTAP is to foster a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound surface transportation system by improving skills and increasing knowledge of the transportation workforce and decision makers.
