It's the night of the moths with naturalist Steve Walter.  Explore the mysterious, the plain, and the magical moths at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge on Friday, July 18, 2008 from 8:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m..  Suitable for those 12 and up.  Bring insect protection and flashlight.

July 20: Beautiful Butterflies

Kids, ages 4 and up, accompanied by an adult, will discover the magic of beautiful butterflies at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge on Sunday, July 20, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m..  Begin inside with an activity, and then it’s out to find monarchs, red admirals, swallowtails and other butterflies.
