Don't confuse Wikipedia's problematic implementation with the underlying wiki principle. Wikis can be password-protected, require logins and auditing, and so forth. But a wiki is probably the wrong model in any case. Wikis are designed for collaborative editing of unstructured hypertext, while a discography is in essence a database with a bit of free-text annotation. It has been suggested that what is needed for discography is much like the IMDB, where all submissions are subject to review before acceptance. Regards, Eric Grunin www.grunin.com/eroica
