There's no blanket answer. It depends on the speed you want/need, the
tradeoff of price and quality, the quantity you're looking for and, most of
all, the media which work best in your writer(s).

It's easy enough to get fifty blanks free after rebate - but they're seldom
worth the price. Many people find Tajo-Yuden to be excellent media for
speeds of 16-32x and that Fuji *made in Japan* check out to be T-Y of that
line.
