Hi, Don, There is a _slight_ track mismatch, but it should work. I have the Tascam track drawing up at my Web site http://www.richardhess.com/tape/tips.htm click on it for a bigger image. The bigger issue is that if you do it in two passes I doubt you'll ever be able to sync up the two different passes, if that's an issue. I'm more interested in the CompactFlash recorders that Marantz and others are offering. Core Sound has some, too. http://www.core-sound.com/HighResRecorderNews.html that use a PDA. Heck, my Palm T3 comes with built-in voice memo capability--but no HiFi options. Cheers, Richard
