Farris: We are about a year into making EAD finding aids for our
collections. I highly recommend EAD as both a collection management
tool and a destination for researchers (our UCLA Digital Library has
developed an online EAD template which has enabled us to do this). We
have only a few finding aids mounted at this point, but if you want to
check them out follow the link below to our home page and then select
"click here to search select finding aids at the Online Archive of
California." We will also be embedding streaming audio and video links
within the finding aids over the next few years. -John
