"Curious how you find a specific disc - does it go in an envelope, or file folder, with info on it, or what?" The discs go in a jewel case which is bar coded. 25 jewel cased CDs then go in a specially made cardboard box with the bar code range written on the outside and this box joins the thousands of others in our storage area. Discs are retrieved according to bar code (we bar code ALL items including commercial/published discs and these are boxed too but stored in a separate area from CD-Rs). The boxes exclude light and dust and provide 'economy of storage' on the shelves by maximising the space. Regards from a frosty London.
