Tom, I have one of those German made, processor controlled, lab ovens a-la Sonicraft. We do all sorts of projects from one 1/4" tape on 5" reel to large collections containing dozens and even hundreds of reels (radio stations and record companies). Although I have the most advance and proper oven for the larger jobs, we have it primarily because the AM Harvest unit was not available here at the time. If it would I was probably going to buy it for the smaller jobs. It's not available now either. If I had the $$ coming in from that kind of project, I'd go much larger-scale and get a good laboratory oven like Steve Puntollilo has (www.sonicraft.com).
