as a audiophile, I think that the computer environment is not the place for audio. Hence using a card in that "dirty" environment is not conducive to good audio. find an outboard device. usb has some advantages but is not as good as firewire. I have found the Metric Halo ULN2 to be a superior audio interface Dale [log in to unmask] www.longrunaudio.com
