Worse than Sam Chalpin? (Another of the Mrs. Miller clones.) By the way, anyone on this list ever heard Ellis and Norma Jean Chadburne, outside of their Faust Travesty (issued as Thomas and Jenny Whozis)? They were definitely the real thing and turned out album after album of what sounds like people choking to piano accompaniment. dl Bill Schurk wrote: > Ya gotta listen to the FABULOUS Sam Sacks on his 1961 LP, "Sing it again, Sam!", on the Arliss label. The guy can sing?? And............he announces each song like da cylinders. But the coop da grass are all of the "pensive" pics of Sam in the studio on the jacket verso. > > Bill Schurk > Sound Recordings Archivist > Bowling Green State University > > David Lewis <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > I would add that Natalia Janotha (1856-1932) is probably deserving of that > title as well.
