Told you so. The bid history is a dead giveaway. It has old transactions, one recent one for virtually no money, then KERBOOM. It's possible that it was an old account that was hacked by someone other than the original account holder. Anyway, it's highly unlikely that a buyer willing to shell out that kind of money hasn't been bidding/buyer on other stuff recently, and probably for serious money.
