As per my original e-mail, Kurtz recorded Uirapuru with the NY Philharmonic in
1949.
I remember taping broadcast concerts by Kurtz with the CBC Symphony Orchestra
in 1959, when he conducted all the Beethoven Symphonies. (I remember when the
CBC had an orchestra....)
