I would recommend the Alesis Masterlink hard disc recorder with built-in CD burner. I know it's probably more expensive than you are looking for, but you can record to the hard drive, edit, create tracks and burn to CD all in the same unit. There's one on ebay now with a "buy it now" price of $550, and several in the $750 range. -Matt Sohn
