Arlington National Cemetery
This is the United States' most celebrated military cemetery and is one of only two cemeteries officially administered by the U.S. Army. The web site's historical link includes sections on casualties of war, prominent Americans, and minorities buried here. There is also a section on monuments and memorials located at the cemetery.

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall Page
This database is also a guide to the names of servicemen on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. It is searchable by the name, hometown, state, rank, serial number, branch of service, and birth date of military personnel listed as missing and killed in action during the Vietnam War. It is an unofficial site not affiliated with the U.S. government.

The Korean War Veterans Memorial
This site describes the location and design of the memorial. It also discusses the reasons why the United States entered the Korean War.

World War II Memorial
The newest national war memorial in Washington, D.C. opened to the public on April 29,2004. It is located on 17th Street, N.W. between Constitution and Independence Avenues. Information on the web site describes the memorial and discusses the design and construction of the site.

African American Civil War Memorial
The only national memorial for United States Colored Troops in the Civil War, located in the historic U Street corridor of Washington, D.C.
