On June 4, the Library held a reception celebrating the opening of the exhibition "Religion and the Founding of the American Republic," which is on view in the Jefferson Building through Aug. 29. The exhibition was made possible by grants from the Pew Charitable Trusts, Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. "Bud" Smith and the Lily Endowment Inc. The exhibition is also available online.
