Grand Reopening: Official Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

The first 1,814 visitors to the ribbon cutting and through the Museum doors will receive a special gift in honor of 1814, the year of the Battle of Baltimore when the Star-Spangled Banner waving at "dawn's early light" inspired Francis Scott Key.

Day of the Dead/Día de los muertos

The American History and American Indian museums celebrated Day of the Dead, a pre-columbian tradition of honoring the ancestors. Visitors came and learned about this tradition, created art, enjoyed music and dance performances, and met the artists.
