Club Sports

The Naval Academy sponsors a full program of Club Sports as a complement to the Varsity Intercollegiate program. These clubs provide the opportunity to athletes to participate on an intercollegiate in sports that are not at Varsity level.

The Club Sports program is sponsored by the Naval Academy, Midshipmen Welfare Fund, and the Department of Physical Education. Primary funding is provided through the Midshipmen Welfare Fund.

Accomplishments for Club Sports: 2004-2005

- Navy Club sports defeated Army in Boxing, International Pistol, Triathlon, Women's Lacrosse, and Marathon.

- Navy Club sports defeated Air Force in Boxing, Women's Lacrosse and Men's Volleyball.

- Club Sports had 15 wins and 2 losses to all Military Institutions played this past year.

- Boxing was the National Collegiate Boxing Association (NCBA) Champion.

- International Pistol finished 2nd in the nation.

- Combat Arms defeated Army, Coast Guard and Air Force

- Women's and Men's Rugby finished 3rd in the Nation
